Rain, Rain, Go Away
After the nicest week of the year so far, of course it would have to rain for the weekend. Of course, that didn't stop Malin and Gavin from playing outside. They stomped in puddles for a half hour or so this morning, after making pancakes for breakfast and helping Mommy bake cookies for her crop next week. Other than that, today has been a lazy day, playing Candy Land, Sorry!, and hide and seek.
We had kind of a busy week. Monday night I am sure we did something, but I can't remember what it was right now. On Tuesday, Ellie Ritzman came to play with Malin for a couple of hours. Tuesday night we visited Mee-Maw and Aunt Beppers, and took Gavin to Jack's for his first soft-serve ice cream, which he loved. Wednesday the Holderman girls came over and stayed while Mommy, Aunt Christie, and Mam-Maw went shopping in Seilinsgrove for dresses to wear to Tammy Pines wedding in May (They didn't find anything). Thursday we made sure we put the kids to bed early, and we watched a movie (Wimbledon). Last night we all went out to eat at The Bread of Life, and then visited the Holdermans, and then went up around the school to see the Juniata kids in their Prom outfits. Malin really liked that, and was hoping we could get her a fancy dress like that. Maybe someday, we told her!
