Christmas Eve Day Gingerbread House...

I went shopping to Costco on Christmas Eve...they didn't have what I went for, but I did find this Gingerbread House kit on sale for $2.97. I thought it would be fun to do...I mean...it was Christmas Eve...what else did we have to do?!?! The kids had a blast and so did Doyle and I! Gavin ate lots of candy, but did manage to help a little bit! It fell apart a little bit on us because we failed to read the directions where it said to let it set for 15 minutes before adding candy! Oh well...we had fun. Maybe we will even do it again next year!

Early Christmas

 Wow, somehow we managed to whiz right by Thanksgiving without a blog update! Oops! This past weekend, we attended a Childrens' Christmas party sponsored by Daddy's work. We took in a magic show (Malin was chosen to go up on stage as an assistant!) and then all the kids got to sit on Santa's lap. Someone from Daddy's work snapped this picture of all of us while we were enjoying cookies and snacks while waiting for the magic show to begin. Daddy found the picture at work, and emailed it home to post on the blog! It was a busy day, but the kids all had fun.
